The NSRC Mandate

 

The NSRC is mandated by RA 10121 Sec. 13.



The NSRC IGP to RA 10121 provides that OCD shall be responsible for the development, organization, training, utilization, administration, mobilization, operation, accreditation, protection and funding with the LGUs.



NSRC is for DRRM. The AFP Reservist may be called upon by the NDRRMC Chairperson as may be needed.



AFP Reservist primary duty will still be to prepare for war. As per RA 7077, secondary/additional duty is DRRM which is same as the AFP Regular Force.
